Practice" by Joseph G. Allegretti, "Why Lawyers Behave The Way They Do" by

Human Reproduction Technologies and Contracting
for a Baby in Canada: [ send
me this paper ] This 7 page report discusses social and legal
issues associated with new reproductive technologies such as surrogate
mother arrangements and in-vitro fertilization. Is it possible to write a
commercial contract for a baby? Can a man buy his own child? Who owns the

best interests of children, and personal civil rights must all be

Human Rights And The United Kingdom's
Entertainment Law Industry [ send
me this paper ] 6 pages in length. The recent developments in human
rights law have had a significant impact upon the United Kingdom's
entertainment law industry with regard to breach of privacy, obscenity and
censorship issues. The ever-evolving nature of human rights laws has given
way to a redefining of just what it means to possess the very basis of
justifiable claim when it comes to one's rights; in doing so, the United
Kingdom's entertainment law industry has found it necessary to represent
myriad angles of such redefinition within the boundaries of the Human
Rights Act. Bibliography lists 6 sources. Filename:

Immigration Laws: Time For Enforcement
[ send
me this paper ] A 5 page paper which discusses aspects of
immigration laws and then argues that greater enforcement be implemented.
The laws themselves do not necessarily need to be changed, as the country

place are not enforced adequately to prevent such events as the terrorist
activities of September, 2001. Bibliography lists 4 sources. Filename: RAimmgrt.wps

In Favor of Same-Sex marriage [ send
me this paper ] ( 5 pp.) This discussion will look at the
emotionally charged issue of homosexual marriage. It is this writer's
opinion that this has become a social "non-problem," and should be treated
as such. In a dynamic and vital society, there are many more issues of
concern that lead to the growth of a health society and the potential of
human development, rather than quibbling about ones choice of sexual
partners. Bibliography lists 3 sources. Filename:

Informed Consent; The Changing Attitude in the
UK [ send
me this paper ] This 12 page paper is a comprehensive look at the
doctrine of 'informed consent'. The writer considers how the idea of
informed consent has changed citing numerous cases, such as Bolam v Friern
Hospital Management Committee [1957, Sidaway v Board of Governors of
Bethlem Royal and the Maudsley Hospital [1985] and the case of Bolitho.
The situation in the UK is also contrasted to other countries such as the
US, Canada and Australia. The paper focuses on medial consent, but other
forms of informed consent are also covered, including the apparent
inability of an adult to consent to some forms of sexual activities. The
bibliography cites 18 sources. Filename:

Intelligence Testing Among Inmates
[ send
me this paper ] 12 pages in length. There are a number of social
and environmental factors that encourage delinquency; one in particular,
however, that has received significant study is considered more than the
rest: decreased intelligence. Research has shown that an individual whose
intelligence level is below average can display myriad socially
unacceptable behaviors. It can readily be argued, however, that a
significant number of perpetrators engage in some form of delinquency at
some time during their formative youth without the added burden of
compromised intelligence; in this particular case, motivation for such
behavior is often placed upon an unstable home life or other social
factors. The prevalence of intelligence testing within the penal system
has attempted to illustrated the correlation between lower aptitude and
criminal activity, providing a springboard upon which further study
continues to occur. Bibliography lists 12
sources. Filename:
