There was a time when ample room and welcoming attitudes ushered in immigrants whereby the United States of America could house, feed, employ, educate and medically tend to the wayward masses. However, times have changed and there are barely enough resources to benefit American citizens whose country is being overrun by undocumented aliens sneaking past border patrol. The presence of a physical barrier to more effectively prevent border crossing will significantly help stop the rising social and economic impact of immigrants using national services such as health care and education to which they are not entitled.
