ABSTRACT:
This 9 page paper looks at two scenarios regarding potential negligence or malpractice in a healthcare situation. The first considers the issue of informed consent and whether an unexpected event can be seen as negligence on the part of a doctor, looking at healthcare Law in the US. The second part of the paper considers a scenario in Australia, where an elderly and infirm residents slips and falls while in the care of a radiographer.
