Profiling sexual offenders by way of the Multiphasic Sex Inventory II provides a basis upon which law enforcement and the psychological community can better understand what drives certain individuals to behave in such an antisocial manner. This approach, exclusively meant to measure those who have allegedly committed or admitted to committing sexual offenses, determine specific personality traits and deviant characteristics of a sexual nature that assist in getting the individuals appropriate treatment and assessing follow up progress.
