ABSTRACT:
A 7 page analysis of a typical research article which is encountered in the medical literature. The author of this paper provides an overview of the procedures and findings reported in a study designed to provide a quantitative analysis of pain in the neonatal intensive care unit at a major hospital. Data collection, analysis, interpretation, and conclusions are all encapsulated and applied to the task of solving a problem. Suggestions for future research is included.
