ABSTRACT:
This 5 page report discusses Peter Gudgin’s 1997 book, “Armoured Firepower: The Development of Tank Armament 1939-45.” The report also makes the argument that the development and implementation of armored vehicles and tank warfare ultimately made a positive impact within the military. Mechanical warfare provided by tanks was able to accomplish more with less loss of human life than had ever been dreamed possible. Bibliography lists 3 additional sources.
