A 14 page paper which examines how the city was transformed from Medieval Paris to the trademark infrastructure of a contemporary urban center by Baron Georges Haussmann. Specifically considered are the city’s urban evolution, what infrastructural strategies needed to be considered, and also its cross-cultural influence during the French Concession period and beyond.
