ABSTRACT:
This 8 page paper is written in two parts. The first part assesses the way ethics can be seen General Electric (GE) and how they may impact in accounting practices. The second and largest part of the paper assesses the firm performance using ratio analysis looking at the net profit margin and return on equity for 2005 – 2009, along with the asset turnover, current ratio and quick ratio for 2000 – 2009, all calculations are shown and the ratios are discussed.
