As one of the most highly multicultural environments in American society, the educational setting continues to be met with significant struggle maintaining a level of social and scholastic equity in the twenty-first century. The extent to which cultural diversity plays an overwhelming role in how and what a student learns is both grand and far-reaching; that schools can readily implement a workable plan for multiculturalism by applying specific components speaks to the capacity for not only improving academic success but also demonstrating the cultural accord that can exist within the educational environment.
