This 5 page paper argues that the current definitions of marriage are out of date. The way in which the definition may be wrong is considered in terms of the international pressures and changes and also internal social structures. The paper concentrates on English law, but many elements have an international context and other countries are considered. The bibliography cites 7 sources.
