A 7 page paper which examines the intense negotiations between the United States and the Soviet Union during the Cuban Missile Crisis, specifically concentrating on the conflict within the President’s own advisors, known as Executive Committee of the National Security Council, as to how best to respond to the two letters sent my Premier Nikita Khruschev regarding the resolution of the situation.
