A 10 page paper that explores the research addressing the effects of divorce on American children and adolescents. Data included regarding rates of divorce and number of children affected. Research is contradictory regarding the effects of divorce on children but most researchers conclude there are any number of negative effects on children ranging from higher suicide rates and higher high school drop-out rates to more health problems and poorer performance in school.
