This 15 page report style paper (including 1 page outline) considers the different influences that may be felt by the new Primary Care Trusts (PCT) created under the reorganising of the NHS in the UK. The political, economic, social, technological, environmental and legal influences are examined and the way that this will impact on the operation and personnel matters are discussed. The paper focuses on the Kensington and Chelsea Primary Care Trust but may be seen as applicable to other PCT’s. The bibliography cites 14 sources.
